Tom Ford Fall 2013- Over The Top!!!

Tom Ford's return to a major runway presentations was a welcomed change for me. 

I love a big Over The Top show. 

For me its all about the moment in time where a designer allows you into their vision in it's purest state. When it comes down to it, true personal style is never about wearing one designer H2T. It's all about the personalized mix. So the runway presentation is the one true place were the "vision" comes alive!!!

For Fall 2013 Tom Ford gave me everything I needed. It was all about Cross Cultural  refferences expressed in Saturated Color for a look that was High Octane Glamour!!!

BLACK AND TRANSPARENT ALBERTINA PODIUM HEELS

I am so obsessed with this new design from the 2013 Spring/Summer collection of Givenchy. 

Details: High heels in buffed black leather. Gold-tone metallic slotted screw details throughout. Open round toe. Clear plasticized panel at vamp. Nude pink elasticized ankle strap. Signature tapered podium heel in silver- and gold-tone metal, woodgrain, and clear plastic. Tan leather sole. Tonal stitching. Leather, plastic. Made in Italy.

These are so uber CHIC!!!! It's all about F,G,&,E.... Fashion, Glamour, and Excitement!!!

Youngwon Kim : 2013 Graduate Shoe Collection

Recent London Royal College of Fashion Master Graduate Youngwon Kim explored post modern aesthetics in a contemporary shoe graduate collection.  Her interest in pushing the boundaries of form are evident in this extraordinary effort. 

This collection was created with the intention of producing new visual,technical and functional forms in footwear designs.

The heel part of the shoes is customizable, enabling the changing of heels, while a leather layering technique was utilized on the upper shoe. 

I find these shoes to be a tour-de-force. The attention to detail and play with proportion is amazingly fresh and innovative. I am looking forward to her next collection.
