It’s all in the details

The level of ingenuity and innovation found in this collection is unsurpassed.

- What appears to be skinny denim is actually vegetable-dyed patch work leather.

- The "hoodie" is engineered from molded leather, woven jersey, and nylon foam.

- The ankle sections of the boots are either hand-loomed fabric or a meltdown of blue, white, and green strips of leather, laser-compressed into a striated amalgam that looks like Play-Doh. Gorgeous!!!

- There were amazing vest that were a collage of elements, a mix of recycled fabrics and natural-looking hemp weaves.

- The chic coat-dresses—patched with streaks of lemon and green—against textured beige spiraled leather togas contrasted with painted suede.

- The last group of mind-bending latticework skirts were like porcupine quills, flashing shots of green and maroon in their movement.

Welcome to The Fashionistador

Welcome to “The Fashionistador”

Fashion is about change and evolution based on one’s personal references and point of view. We express ourselves through the clothes we wear, reflecting our own personal style, mood, or attitude. Designers offer the public the elements for self-expression. One’s beauty and self-esteem should be enhanced, not defined by the clothes one wears.

“The FASHIONISTADOR” is about expanding the fashion vocabulary of our readers. We want to bring you the best from the worlds of fashion, art, and design. We will also look the at the latest collections from the runways and beyond; with an eye on what’s new, now, and next.

As a fashion industry professional for over 20 years. I’ve seen trends & fads come and go. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that you have to make fashion work for you... your body type, your style, and your mood.
