Delpozo - Spring 2013
Ok, so I know this is a season behind. But I could not let this one slip away without acknowledging such a beautiful collection!!! Please forgive my tardiness and enjoy the F,G,&E!!!!
The History of the Brand
Company founded by Spanish designer Jesus Del Pozo, in 1974.
Known for their constant creative research and an arduous craftsmanship, taken from haute couture, Jesus del Pozo’s collections always stood out for their strong personality and undeniable style. His trajectory and prestigious work were recognized through numerous awards, establishing him as one of the heirs to Balenciaga and Fortuny. After four decades in the world of fashion, delpozo is one of the most prestigious and credible Spanish fashion houses at both and national and international level.
After the passing of its founder in August 2011, the Perfumes Diseño Group acquired the company, at the beginning of 2012. A few months later the company announced its international relaunching and Josep Font joined the team as Creative Director.
I found this collection to be the definition of modern romantic. There is an old-world quality to the silhouette with a futuristic play on proportion. This mix is always what intrigues me.
Spring 2013 Collection
The play on traditional lace done in a sheer structured treatment is amazing!!!
Sheer, neutral, florals, with black is so chic!!!

Living for a goddess dress in neutral & neon!!!
Over the top couture techniques will always be in style!!!
When it come to clothing that is truly wearable and not just "Fashion As Art", it's all about classical elements done in a new way. Elements that one can relate to while still giving you a reason to buy. This collection was very much that for me. And I'm looking forward to what's next from Josep Font and team!
Until next time wishing you F,G,& E!!!! Fashion Glamour & Excitement!!!!
